Last Days Before College....

This is my friend, Julia.

She is absolutely beautiful...inside and out.

And has a heart that radiates Jesus.

She is leaving for college in less than a month. So Monday night I went over to her house and did some pictures of her and her family in their front yard.

Okay, the one below was from Friday...but hey, I liked it better than the other ones I took of her and Nathaniel Monday evening.

The one below is a little over-exposed, but I love it so I have to share it. :)

And the credit for this last one of Julia and yours truly goes to her brother. :)

Ah, this would depend on the day. Sometimes I like walking in the rain, somedays I like swinging in the sunshine, and sometimes I like just sitting in the snow. Other days indoors is just absolutely wonderful. :)

2.Hot or cold weather?

Um, both? lol I mean, somtimes that snow is wonderful, and other times, the sun is great!

3.Favorite color?

Baby Blue. :)

Don't ask, no idea. Yeppers. Hmm....Anne of Green Gables or Facing the Giants....Fireproof is a tear jerker, and Come What May=love! Gotta say that Cranford is pretty good too...and hmm.....yeah....

This picture means more to me than meets the eye....because in it are things I love and that I'm committed too. That ring is my "purity ring"...which means I'm committed to purity, both emotionally and physically, for my Heavenly Prince, and my earthly prince. The Bible signifies the Savior that I seek to love and serve with all my heart. And the heart signifies the love that I have for both of my princes. :)

I'm sorry I haven't posted more pictures lately...I would love to be like some of you and roll out the pics everyday, but frankly, I am so busy right now. Tests, Spanish, Government, Piano students etc.....
I miss being able to run around and take pics with my camera. :) I am managing (on most days) to get one pic for my a memory a day photo challenge blog, but no shoots.

My little sister Emily (the little girl in the picture) means so much to me and she is just precious! She has down sydrome, but she is our sunshine and continually radiates with God's love. :)

This morning (Saturday, mind you) I was up at 7:00, and out of the house at 8:00 in 37* weather on my way to help the lady I work for do a photo shoot. Later on this afternoon I am going to a kind of fall festival/craft fair, then I am having my pictures taken, and then I am taking someone else's pictures. :)
Today is going to be a day full of photography...photos, laughter, smiles, and scarves. :)
For now, I just wanted to share some pictures I took yesterday morning....

So I have been learning alot about photography(ISO, Aperature, etc.) over the past week-especially about lighting and different settings for my camera! I love when photographers get the glow of the sun in their pictures, so last night (with my new knowledge) I decided to try it out. Here are some of the results(not perfect, but definitely better than when I had tried before. Hopefully I will improve over time! : ) )

On Easter, my Papa and cousin went fishing down at my Grandparents' pond. From the house, I glanced down to where they were and couldn't help running to get my camera. It was such a peaceful night, and I wanted to catch the special moment....this picture(above) is their reflection in the water.
